Harry Potter fan roasted as Death Eater tattoo looks much ruder than intended

When a Harry Potter fan showed off their new tattoo online, they never expected to be roasted.

To pay homage to J.K. Rowling’s iconic book series, they got a Dark Mark design on their forearm.

Similar designs are seen on Death Eater characters in the films – like Barty Crouch Jr. played by David Tennant.

The skull and twisted snake illustration also includes the Deathly Hallows symbol seen in the final movies.

But unfortunately, the execution wasn’t the best and some people think the ink looks rude.

A picture of the Potter-themed inking was posted onto Reddit’s “Bad Tattoos” forum, where it was mocked by some.

One commenter said: “The skull looks very sad.”

A second agreed: “I’ve never seen a depressed skull before.”

Another thinks the ink looks naughtier than intended, so joked: “I like the little ballsack in the snake’s mouth.”

A fourth wrote: “Someone snapped that poor snake’s neck.”

And another added: “The snake looks so flat it might be a tapeworm with fangs.”

Others defended the body art though – arguing it doesn’t look as bad as people think.

One Redditor wrote: “It's fine in my opinion. Definitely really amateurish but this is nowhere near as bad as other truly bad tats I've seen.”

And another agreed: “Yeah it’s one of those tattoos where the mistakes would drive me crazy if it were on my body but just seeing it on another person I’d probably think it looks fine.

“The vast majority of people looking at it in real life aren’t going to notice the issues. It’s not good but it’s passable.”
