A self-declared "cougar" says she looks so young that toy boys change their minds about asking out older women.

The 41-year-old, who posts under the username "sexyshadez", is known for her incredible videos of herself skiing, hiking, and lifting weights at her home in Colorado.

And in one of her recent clips, she joked about being a "cougar" while sporting a tight pair of jeans and a cropped top.

The video, which has gained more than 24,000 likes, shows the mature influencer flaunting her athletic physique.

She lip-syinced along to a viral sound, which says: "They try to call my a cougar.

"See from what I understand a cougar is an old b**** that likes to f*** young guys. I'm an old b**** that young guys like to f***. That's the difference."

After miming along to the punchline, she turned her back towards the camera to show her shapely figure in her skin-tight jeans – which left viewers baffled.

Men took to the comments convinced she was younger than she claimed to be – and said she looked better than some younger women.

One user quipped: "Ma'am respectfully if you're 41 then I'm 23."

Another wrote: "You don't look old to me. You look better than some of the younger women. At least you are in better shape than them."

A third commented: "Very easy on the eyes."

A fourth said: "You're a gorgeous young woman."

The news comes after a woman who prefers dating men 30 years younger than her hit back at critics who call her lifestyle "predatory" and "trashy", insisting it's "empowering".

Patsy Mennuti, from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is a self-declared "chaser of cubbies" who prefers dating men in their 20s.

The 52-year-old yoga teacher has been sharing her cougar lifestyle on TikTok, where she's known as "hella cougar", and has racked up over 200,000 followers with her dating tips.

But while young men say she's "great", not everyone agrees with her lifestyle, she explained in an interview with Daily Star.
