‘I’m a stripper and deal with creepy men daily – lads even fat shame me on job’

A stripper revealed how she deals with creepy men and body shaming daily.

Rain World, who lives in Scotland, has been stripping for the last few years.

The 20-something exotic dancer took the clubs after she became depressed working in retail – as she was strapped for cash and was selling clothing she "didn't care" about.

But even though stripping has helped her save more money than ever, along with providing more time, the job isn't as glamorous as people think.

Forking out for hefty club fees and dealing with "crazed" men are among the downsides of the industry.

"Being in a room full of so many half naked beautiful women can make people act crazy," Rain World exclusively told Daily Star.

"Every shift probably [creepy comments are made].

"I'm usually fine with 'creepy' comments, my only problem is when the guy hasn't paid me!

"Creepy is manageable, it's mean comments that are the problem.

"I've been called fat, not pretty enough, and told that my glasses are 'terrible'.

"They're usually just broke or jealous though!"

The stunner has met her fair share of customers in her time – and she listed reasons she can tell they're a bad egg.

Some blokes pay very little – and it's common for cards to be declined.

"There's so many ways to be the worst customer," Rain World said.

"There's guys that promise you they'll pay you lots if you sit with them but then just pay you £20 or their card gets declined, guys that try to touch you all the time.

"Then there's some really mean and judgemental guys who are so insecure they need to take a pretty girl down to feel okay.

"The best customer is a guy that tips you cash just to talk to him, won't waste your time, won't try to touch you and will pay you what you ask for.

"And generally just has fun with you and treats you like a person."

Rain World doesn't just experience dehumanising behaviour from clients.

She's had run-ins with people who identify as "feminist and pro-sex work".

Some have refused to listen when she tried to explain the reality of stripping to them – an occupation that's financially supported her.

Some even accuse her of "lacking morals" and "taking advantage" of men.

"I've had people who would say they're feminist and pro-sex work say some really weird stuff about stripping to me," Rain World shared.

"Even talking over me or not listening when I tell them what it's actually like.

"I've had people say it's wrong for me to take advantage of vulnerable men, and that stripping's only about scamming people because we 'give guys nothing'.

"And often that I have no morals and should get a real job!

"It's strange to me how people have such a strong opinions on the strip club yet have never been in one."

While she has a lot more spare time on her hands thanks to her unconventional job, Rain World has built up a following on TikTok.

The dancer hopes to show the reality of the world of stripping – the good and the bad.
