I'm worried my sister has an eating disorder as she's turned thin and gaunt | The Sun
DEAR DEIDRE: WHEN I saw my younger sister for the first time in a year, I was shocked at how thin and gaunt she looked.
I’m worried she has an eating disorder like anorexia, even though she denies anything is wrong.
She’s 34, I’m 36, but she now looks ten years older.
Although she has always been slim – a size 8 – she has become skeletal, with veins popping out of her arms, a scrawny neck and sunken cheeks.

Something isn’t right, but when I tried to talk to her about it she made out she was happy and healthy.
We’re not close, but I care and I want to help her.
