Inside Jacqueline Jossa’s daughter Mia’s 5th birthday with mermaid tower cake and pancake stand
Jacqueline Jossa went all out for her daughter Mia's 5th birthday with a mermaid tower cake and an impressive pancake stand. The EastEnders star who recently returned to the BBC soap took to Instagram to share highlights from the magical day.
On Monday she shared a snap of her daughter as she stood in front of a colourful backdrop of mermaid tails, balloons and sparkles. She lovingly wrote the caption: "Mia turns 5. Happy birthday my little baby girl. Please slow down. I love you so much it hurts my heart. You are the funniest, kindest most special girl in the world. You fill my heart and have completed my life.
"Wobbly teeth have started and the sass is real with this one. Let’s see what Mia as a 5 year old brings.
"More of the same I hope", before ending the post wishing her youngest a happy birthday. The party in celebration of the big day was mermaid-themed complete with an adorable pamper area for the kids from Plush Beauty Events.
The pamper station was set up on a small table in a large bell tent, decorated with pretty flowers, cushions and cosy blankets. Jacqueline said it was a "beautiful set up for Mia."
A showstopping personalised "mermaid tower cake" was also featured at the party, complete with Mia's name and the number five on top. It was decorated with bows and mermaid tails in blue, purple and pink.
Another stand-out item at the part was the pancake hut which was also personalised with the five-year-olds name. It had a white umbrella attached to the wooden stand which was filled with toppings and sauces.
The party comes after Jacqueline made a surprise return to EastEnders as Lauren Branning alongside co-star Thomas Law who plays the role of Peter Beale. It was part of the shock storyline as Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) made a comeback after 25 years, having previously been said to have died in childbirth in prison.
Fans are now hoping it won't be the last they'll see of Lauren as they begged Jacqueline to come back to her old role – as Thomas's return as Peter was confirmed after the episode. One happy viewer wrote on Twitter: "It was great to see you back, along with Adam, Michelle and Thomas. Hope this won't be the last we see of you though x."
While another said: "Love this … obviously knew about Ian and Cindy but you two what a fantastic surprise sneaky."
"Loved watching yous all in last nights episode, yous should all be back permanently especially you @jacjossa fingers crossed for your return" one other added.
