The royal family bundled up in their best churchgoing outfits for a Christmas Day service on their Sandringham, England estate yesterday — and Kate Middleton looked full of holiday cheer in shades of green.
The Princess of Wales, 40, brought back an old favorite coat dress by Alexander McQueen for the occasion, wearing a long style with flap pockets that she previously sported at three different events in 2020.
Underneath, she kept her recent penchant for monochromatic looks going, appearing to wear the same green ribbed Mango dress she chose for a visit to a children’s center last month.
The royal gave her old coat a fresh look by rocking a new green hat with a bow and jaunty feather, which appeared to be a custom version of a similar Philip Treacy style.
The princess further accessorized with Sézane jewelry — choosing the French brand’s now-sold-out Dina Earrings ($130) adorned with dangling blue beads — as well as a pair of brown boots, a coordinating brown clutch and gloves.
Middleton has donned all green for the traditional Christmas Day walk to church only once, in 2015; she mostly wears tartan or shades of burgundy, brown or gray for the annual service and walkabout in Sandringham.
Other members of the royal family in attendance yesterday included King Charles, Queen Consort Camilla, Prince Edward, the Countess of Wessex, Prince Andrew and Zara Tindall, as well as Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie and their respective husbands.
While the royals are now on their holiday break, we can’t help but look forward to what the Princess of Wales will wear in 2023.
