KFC announces loyalty points system is axed as it makes way for new scheme
Calling all KFC fans, the chain is making major changes to its reward scheme – and you might not like it.
Instead of buying food at the chain, you'll get the chance to win prizes instead.
But it means shoppers will face a game of chance rather than a guaranteed reward when eating out.

KFC ditched its old scheme where you collect stamps back in July and people weren't happy.
For each three stamps you could nab any side dish for free, like hot wings or small popcorn chicken.
Seven KFC stamps gets you a free snack, while 11 can go towards £5 off your order.
You can earn one stamp by spending over £3, or two when it's over £15.
Now each time you make a purchase you can win a prize through the Rewards Arcade in the KFC app.
The fast food giant said it's giving away "1,000s of free menu items every day".

The items up for grabs include:
- 2 single wings
- Regular fries
- BBQ dipped bites
- Mini fillet
- Flamin' wrap
- Fillet Burger
- Zinger burger
- Regular popcorn
- 6 piece original recipe bargain bucket
- 2 pieces of original recipe chicken
- 3 piece boneless chicken with dip
- Mighty bucket for one
The value of the win ranges from £1.19 for two wings, up to £7.49 for the mighty bucket for one, though prices can vary.
Recently deals expert Joseph Seager said the change was not one for the better.
He told The Sun: "Previously you got something for loyalty and worked towards a goal. You knew you were going to get something.
"It's great that there are offers within the app but with the rewards arcade, there is no guarantee of actually getting anything."
