There was one guest at socialite Julie Macklowe‘s over-the-top leather and lingerie holiday party last weekend who managed to turn people’s heads away from the fetish-style costumes: Lauren Remington Platt.
The Remington Arms family descendant and glamorous socialite worked as FTX’s head of global luxury partnerships for seven months from February to August — but isn’t hiding after the crypto company imploded and its boss Sam Bankman-Fried was arrested.
A source tells us they were shocked to see Platt — who has not been accused of any wrongdoing — at the leather-themed bacchanale, and then out again at the closing party for the once-super-hip Jane Ballroom on Saturday.
