Love Island fans ‘cringe’ as former islanders Lana and Olivia Hawkins wear the same dress

Love Island stars Lana Jenkins and Olivia Hawkins suffered a fashion faux pas on Wednesday as they both donned the exact same dress while attending the Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts premiere in London.

The two reality star beauties, who appeared on the most recent winter series of the dating show earlier this year, both stunned in the figure-hugging purple leather number from House Of CB, which retails for £159 from the brand.

Olivia, who is OK!'s Love Island columnist this season, pulled her brunette tresses into an updo for the event, while Lana left her blonde locks in a styled curl as she hit the red carpet with boyfriend Ron Hall – who she placed second with on the show.

As both ladies took to social media to document the glamorous evening at Leicester Square, which was attended by a number of other stars, it wasn't long before fans caught on to the matching looks.

"Liv had the same dress on as you today at the premiere??" questioned one of Lana's Instagram followers as she shared a post from the day.

While another echoed, "Had @livhawkinss the same dress this evening at the premiere?"

Lana and Olivia appeared to play off the blunder, and there will undoubtedly be no bad blood between the pair after they struck up a close friendship during their time in the villa.

"We are just obsessed with each other. From the moment I walked into the villa, I knew she was going to be a friend for life," Olivia said of Lana after being dumped from the show, during a chat with Digital Spy.

The duo appeared to be channelling a look similar to that which Maya Jama debuted for the final of their Love Island season – where she donned a purple 'melted candle' style dress.

Appearing to begin a trend, the presenter was showered with compliments as the final aired on ITV2 – with fans taking to social media to laud her.

Kicking off the summer series earlier this week, Maya has once again brought the fire and already has fans swooning with her glamorous looks to front the dating show.

Sporting a stunning white dress for the first episode on Monday, the brunette stunner was labelled 'sensational' by fans and appeared to confirm that there are plenty more jaw-dropping looks to come.
