M&S shoppers are obsessed with ‘comfy’ £25 Birkenstock dupe

Possibly the marmite of all shoes, Birkenstocks have been dividing opinions since the end of time. Loved by the likes of model, Kendall Jenner, actress Jennifer Garner, and singer Katy Perry, it seems like the iconic shoe is sticking around for the summer of 2023.

However, with a hefty £75 price tag, Birkenstock’s Arizona sandals, definitely aren't the most affordable summer footwear option. So we've done some digging and found that Marks and Spencer is currently selling a pair that looks exactly the same as Birkenstock's Arizona shoe.

M&S's Leather Footbed Sandals, which come in a flatform design, feature a two-strap adjustable buckle, a faux suede footbed, and cork detailing just like the Arizona Birkenstock's.

"Tap into summer trends with our leather sandals," the description reads. "Versatile and stylish, these flatform sandals feature two front buckles."

The impressive dupe has an impressive 4.3 star rating on the website and has received hundreds of positive reviews online.

"Very comfortable and great for the price," one happy customer penned. "First time wearing they felt a little stiff but quickly softened and a on the second time on they are really comfortable."

"Lovely sandals, very comfortable in a neutral colour to go with any outfit," another beamed.

Another fan of the popular M&S sandal wrote comparing them to those of Birkenstocks, saying: "A good cheap alternative to Birkenstock and narrower at the toe end so they look less clunky."

"Also lighter weight than Birkis because of thinner footbed and sole so don't feel quite as cushiony," they continued. "I bought same size as Birkis and they fit perfectly."

Available in two colours, the M&S slider comes in a "Dark Tan" shade with stylist gold buckles or a "Navy" hue with black buckles.
