My boyfriend crashed his bike and left me to die on the side of the road | The Sun
DEAR DEIDRE: MY boyfriend crashed his motorbike with me on the back and left me to die on the side of the road.
I’m 26, he’s 28 and we’ve been together for nearly two years.
He’d been doing really well at work and used his recent bonus to buy a motorbike.
Last month, he asked if I wanted to go for a ride.
But about ten minutes from home, he lost control. We both came flying off, and I ended up in a ditch underneath the bike.
Rather than try to help me, he ran off. He didn’t want to get in trouble with the police as he’d had a couple of beers.

I was terrified.
He’s apologised and is begging for things to go back to normal, but I’m not sure I can forgive him that easily.
