My boyfriend keeps losing his erection me after six years of good sex | The Sun
DEAR DEIDRE: WE’VE been together for six years and always had a pretty good sexual relationship but recently my boyfriend has started to blow hot and cold.
He’s sending very mixed signals and I’m confused.
He keeps losing his erection with me, comes up with a lot of excuses (too tired, too stressed) and then the other night when he was a bit tipsy said he simply doesn’t want sex and I need to “give it a rest”.
He’s even said he might have erectile dysfunction which is ridiculous as he’s only 36 and we have never had any problems before.
I’m 35 and I must admit I did get pretty cross because I think he was lying to me.

DEIDRE SAYS: Erectile dysfunction can be caused by psychological or physical reasons.
If your boyfriend is stressed, that could affect his libido. And it can happen people of any age.
Many men only need to lose their erection once for them to start worrying about their performance and for repeated issues to begin.
As frustrated as you are, try not to get angry as this will make him less likely to want to talk to you.
Sometimes when men overuse pornography this can affect their performance in real life as their sexual responses are dulled by the adult content.
Please ask your boyfriend to visit his GP to rule out any medical causes, and read my support pack Finding It Hard To Climax.
