‘People hate my hairy legs and think they’re gross – but I love my body hair’

A woman has been criticised for showing off her armpit and leg hair in public – but has insisted she won't be stopping any time soon..

Teddy has been embracing going natural while trying to normalise body hair.

She posts videos online to show her summer outfits without necessarily shaving her hair on her arms, legs and armpits.

"Proof that no one cares if you're hairy or not because it's natural anyway," she wrote in one video, in which she donned an orange co-ord cropped top and skirt.

People showed support to Teddy but some commented with a vomit emoji.

One person even said: "Body hair is gross and unhygienic."

Others shared that they appreciate Teddy's decision but they wouldn't stop shaving because of the stares from the public.

Teddy decided to share her body confidence to the women and showed the haters that she's not afraid of showing her body hair.

"If you're struggling with being confident about your body hair, just know that it actually will take time," the TikToker advised.

"So it started with me, like wearing ripped jeans and not shaving [hair that people can see through] the rips, if that makes sense.

"And now, let me show you guys my legs — I would have never walked out with my legs.

"Just take it one step at a time in your own time."

She also encouraged women to wear what they want in summer and proudly display their arm hair.

One girl replied: "Ever since I stopped stressing about it I've been at peace with myself."

"I go out with my hairy arms now I don't care, I'm wearing my cute top and mini skirt," a second added.

Teddy added: "Literally can't remember the last time I shaved my arms."

She also clarified to haters that she shaves from time to time.

"I shave whenever I want to, and a lot of people here misinterpreted me as a transgender just because I don't shave and have short hair," she added.
