Princess Beatrice appeared in great spirits as she attended a charity event in Huddersfield yesterday.

The glamorous royal kept her red hair down for the occasion and opted for minimal, natural makeup.

Princess Beatrice’s latest engagement comes days after the Duchess of York announced her shock breast cancer diagnosis.
Sarah, 63, was diagnosed with an early form of the disease after a routine mammogram screening, her spokesman said. She has been told her prognosis is good and is recuperating at Windsor with her family.
In a statement, the spokesman said Sarah wanted to ‘express her immense gratitude to all the medical staff who have supported her in recent days’.
He added: ‘She is also hugely thankful to the staff involved in the mammogram which identified her illness, which was otherwise symptom free, and believes her experience underlines the importance of regular screening.’
It is understood that she was operated on at the private King Edward VII Hospital in London, which is regularly used by the Royal Family. She was in hospital for five days and was released yesterday.
A spokesman for the duchess said: ‘Sarah, Duchess of York was recently diagnosed with an early form of breast cancer detected at a routine mammogram screening.
‘She was advised she needed to undergo surgery which has taken place successfully.’
