River Island’s £33 slingback heels are a perfect dupe for Chanel’s £870 pair

You can’t go wrong with a good designer dupe, especially when it’s one that helps you save more than £800 without having to compromise on style.

If you’ve always fancied a pair of Chanel’s Goatskin & Grosgrain Sling-Back heels,£870 here, but couldn’t quite afford to splash out nearly £1000 on them, then you’re in luck, because River Island has just released a perfect dupe of the heels, and they’ll save you more than £830.

The River Island Beige Heeled Slingback Shoes,£33 here, are an amazing alternative that offer a very similar style and colourway to the Chanel version, with beige faux leather uppers and black toe cap detail. They also have a similar strappy side and slingback design, with a low block heel that makes them perfect for wearing day to day as well as somewhere more upmarket.

Although the Chanel version has some small differences, namely that they’re made from real leather and have the iconic double C logo on the heel, the shape and design are almost identical, making the River Island pair a budget-friendly way of getting the Chanel look for less.

River Island even have an advantage over the Chanel version; they come in more colours. Whilst Chanel’s version comes in beige and black, or a black-on-black version, River Island’s pair comes in four different colours for you to choose from.

They come in the iconic beige and black colour, as well as a similar faux suede and faux leather all-black version, but they also come in two other colours, both of which may well be appealing to bridal parties up and down the country. There’s a white faux leather version with black toe caps that feature a pearl band across the toe caps,£33 here, as well as an all-silver version, with silver faux leather toe caps and glittering diamantes covering them, which also cost£33 here.

River Island is known for its fantastic alternatives to more expensive designer items, and recently launched another bridal favourite;a white heart shaped bagthat works as a great dupe for a similar Vivienne Westwood one that costs more than £300 more.
