Stacey Solomon’s special baby name meaning as she welcomes second daughter with Joe Swash

Stacey Solomon has shared her daughter’s name after giving birth to her second child with Joe Swash on 7 February, 2023.

The Loose Women panellist, 33, has named her daughter Belle, as she shared the moniker in her latest social media post.

The mum-of-five wrote: "Belle, our little Belle. Our beautiful delicate baby girl. Who will forever remind us of the bluebells that are about to bloom as you bring the spring with you into the world.

"And a little special connection to your Rose. To the moon and back Belle. Forever and always".

According to BabyCentre, Stacey and Joe's baby name has a gorgeous meaning.

The name is originally French and has the meaning 'beautiful'.

Belle was also the heroine of the French fairy-tale La Belle et La Bete, better known as Disney's Beauty and the Beast.

Stacey's sister Jemma, AKA the Label Lady on Instagram, led the comments with a sweet message to her baby niece, saying: "We love you Belle, the most perfect name for the most beautiful little girl".

Some of Stacey's famous pals also gushed over the name, saying it's 'perfect'.

"My favourite name for a little girl, it's so stunning and suits her perfectly", wrote ex-Love Islander Zara McDermott.

Pop singer Talia Marr wrote: "The name is perfect, she really is a little princess".

Fellow influencer Charlotte Greedy added: "Hi Little Belle, she's so bloody beautiful Stace I'm in awe".

Stacey already has two children with her husband Joe Swash – Rose, 15 months, and Rex, three. She also has two children from previous relationships: Zachary, 14, and Leighton, ten. Joe, meanwhile, is father to 15 year old son Harry from a previous girlfriend.

There had been plenty of speculation surrounding the name Stacey would choose for her second daughter, with fans sharing an array of monikers since she shared that she was expecting a baby.

Throughout her pregnancy, the star shared her crafting creations for her baby girl's nursery, including a homemade hot air balloon mobile she had made for her daughter.

Eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice that Stacey had used a collection of white beads and pearls to decorate the mobile as they questioned whether her unborn baby's name would be Pearl.

Taking to the comments section, one person said: "Baby Pearl. Just a suggestion" with a heart emoji.

A different account put: "By any chance are you going to call her Pearl??"

Stacey and Joe delighted fans when they announced their pregnancy news back in December with an adorable compilation video that showed the moment the Loose Women panellist sprung the happy news on her husband.

Stacey said: "So grateful & can not believe I’m saying this… Another little pickle is on the way…

"A HUGE surprise, but one that we are so thankful for. To the moon & back bub @realjoeswashy.”
