‘I’m just leaving work and today I decided to make a video about the top 10 things that annoy me as a server because common sense is just not so common nowadays,’ she said at the beginning of the video.

Then she revealed the first thing that annoyed her was when customers ‘slurp down’ their beverages within ’15 seconds.’

She explained that finishing your drink before she took your order would make her angry because ‘you’re already running’ her.

‘Number nine, pointing at the menu to tell me what you want instead of just reading it out loud. If you don’t know how to read, don’t come to a restaurant because I don’t have time,’ she said.

Shantell went on to say she hated when people let their kids order their own food, misread the menu and get angry when the order is wrong, ask for refills by ‘shaking your glass or whistling,’ and are on their phone while ordering.

The waitress added that when people were on their phones while she was trying to take their order, she would simply walk away and come back later.

‘Number four, constantly changing your order. After I send it to that kitchen b***h that’s what you’re going to eat, I don’t give a f***,’ Shantell explained.

‘You should’ve read that menu, you should’ve known what you wanted.’

For the third thing that annoys her, the waitress said she hated when people constantly asked her for things.

She explained that if you asked her for an item then immediately requested something else once she brought you your first request, she would become angry.

Shantell said that unless everyone in the party responded to her when she greeted them, she would walk away.

Lastly, she said she got fired up when customers didn’t say ‘thank you.’

‘Coming in strong at number one, this is the easiest way to aggravate me, piss me off, have me never come back to your table,’ she said.

‘Not saying “please, thank you, may I, can I,” that makes my blood boil. Like your parents didn’t teach you to say thank when you were young?’

‘Being a server takes a lot of work, especially if you’re working at a busy place. Like b***h if I refill your drink, say thank you, if I bring you your food, say thank you,’ Shantell continued.

The server added that when people didn’t use manners, it made her angrier than when they didn’t tip.
