We've been together for five years but have never had sex | The Sun
DEAR DEIDRE: EVEN though I have been in a relationship with my partner for five years, we have yet to have sex.
We do sleep together occasionally but I am unable to keep an erection for long.
This leads to disappointment for both of us.
I am 64 and the woman I am seeing is 61. I am divorced and she has been widowed for many years.
We met by chance at a cafe and gradually got to know one another.

We have so much in common but both worry this problem will affect our relationship in the future if I can’t sort it out.
This would be a great shame as we get on so well. It is beginning to really stress me out.

DEIDRE SAYS: The distress at not being able to perform has undermined your sexual confidence but you should talk to your GP.
Make enquiries about getting a medical check, in case the change in your erections is somehow connected to a health problem.
