Aaron announces he’s staying as boyfriend Marco heads to Emmerdale village

Everyone was relieved to hear that Liv (Isobel Steele) is going to be ok following the attack by Terry (Neil Bell) in yesterday’s Emmerdale.

But she was still insisting that she didn’t want anything to do with her brother Aaron (Danny Miller) who’d returned in the nick of time to catch Terry as he tried to escape.

Paddy (Dominic Brunt) decided to have a word with her, telling her to give Aaron another chance. Liv explained that she felt too hurt by the fact that he’d abandoned her when she was falsely accused of murder, leaving her in a prison cell possibly facing a life sentence.

Paddy gently suggested that there had been ‘blame on both sides’ as Aaron hadn’t been able to cope with Liv’s out-of-control drinking and the fact that she was accused of killing Aaron’s boyfriend.

Aaron stated that at the time he felt that if he stayed he would be doing more harm than good.

‘I’m here now and I want to fix things if you’ll let me,’ he told her.

By the time Vinny came back, brother and sister were laughing and enjoying each other’s company. And Aaron had an announcement to make. His Italian boyfriend Marco will be coming to Emmerdale to join him. ‘I won’t be leaving here again,’ he said.

But given that we know Danny Miller’s return is only temporary, that sounds like a promise he won’t be able to keep…
