Alison Hammond floors fans as she was overcharged 10k but didnt even notice
This Morning presenter Alison Hammond left fans stunned when she admitted to being charged £10,000 for getting her car serviced and "didn't even notice."
The host, 47, helmed Friday's instalment of the ITV show alongside regular co-host Dermot O'Leary and made the shocking revelation while sat opposite guests Carol Vorderman and Giles Brandreth.
Following a discussion about a man who was charged £35,000 for an Uber trip when the driver mistook the location of Manchester for Australia, Alison shared her own experience at being overcharged.
She said: "I got my car serviced and I paid for the service, and I didn't notice until they phoned me that they charged me 10 thousand pounds for the service."
