Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti have stunned Love Island fans with their shock split – but there were secret signs that the break-up was brewing.
The Sun exclusively revealed earlier tonight that the pair have gone their separate ways, with Davide then confirming the break-up on his instagram.
"Ekin-Su and I are no longer together," he said.
"I am grateful for the memories and opportunities we shared together and I wish her nothing but the best.
"I would like for everybody to respect the decision during this difficult time. I will continue to support Ekin in anyway possible."
But looking at Davide's social media, there has been a noticeable absence of his former girlfriend.

He last posed a snap of them together at the Indiana Jones premiere earlier this week, but didn't mention her in the caption.
Davide also posted two solo shots of himself first in the series, before sharing one of him and Ekin.
While Ekin shared the shot and referred to Davide as "my man" in the caption, Davide failed to make a comment about her.
Prior to that, he hadn't posted anything of him and Ekin-Su since March 13.

Instead the Italian Stallion has shared lots of snaps of himself in the gym and posing on holiday.
He even teased fans about a potential return to Love Island with a snap of him in Ibiza and the caption: "Guess who’s coming back" followed by a palm tree and sun emoji.
The pair are currently holidaying separately too.
While Davide is in Ibiza, Ekin-Su is back home in Turkey with her family.
She shared a snap of herself in Bodrum with her mum and auntie, who have been comforting her in the wake of the split.
The duo had also been dogged by cheating rumours in recent months, which only added to the strain they were under.
he couple were dogged by rumours of Davide cheating with models, and Ekin confronted him over a suspected fling earlier this year — branding his lover a “f***ing slag”.
The Sun on Sunday saw messages from Ekin accusing the woman of “sleeping with my boyfriend” back in April.
Ekin also took aim at another Instagram model after finding texts from the woman on Davide’s phone.
Recently, Ekin made some cryptic comments that suggested a future without Davide.
She told The Sun this week that she was considering re-locating to Turkey to pursue her acting dreams.
"I would actually love to go back to Turkey at some point and reconnect with some old agencies out there, who I was in a soap with.
"I speak both English and Turkish so why can't I have a career in both countries?

EKin also hinted at a new beginning when she changed her hair colour earlier this month – a classic hallmark of a break-up.
She went back to her lighter roots after a period with darker locks, posting: "Ekin who? The blonde is back."
