Will there be a season 2 of Wednesday?
The series follows a teenage Wednesday Addams as she navigates school life at a new establishment for outcasts.
As she tries her best to avoid social situations, she gets caught up in a serial killer mystery.
When students at the school start to go missing, she makes it her mission to find out the cause.
The first season follows Wednesday as she tries to identify the killer and provide proof to the sheriff.
However, the end of the series presented viewers with the ultimate cliffhanger when it came to the killer’s identity.
With this in mind, it seems the show has been set up for another season.
Netflix is yet to officially renew the series, as it will be down to viewership figures.
The review website Rotten Tomatoes reported a 64 per cent approval rating and an average rating of 6.5/10.
Series co-creator Alfred Gough has already addressed the renewal ahead of the show’s premiere.
In an interview with Empire, he said he was optimistic about the future.
He said of himself and co-showrunner Miles Millar: “Miles and I are talking amongst ourselves about it.
“There’s definitely more that you can explore in the world of the Addamses.”
He referred to the upcoming episodes as only being a single season of the show.
Season two is likely to pick up where the first season’s finale left off, with Wednesday discovering something about her love interest, Tyler (Hunter Doohan).

Tyler will undoubtedly have to try and prove his innocence, or it could come to light that Wednesday’s visions could not be trusted.
She was told a number of times how the visions were unreliable and they only showed one side of the truth.
Fans will have to wait and see whether the killer’s true identity will ever come to light.
Jenna Ortega spoke out about what she was most excited for viewers to see ahead of the show’s launch.
She said: “I think everybody wishes that they were as bold as Wednesday.
“She says exactly what she’s thinking. She doesn’t hold back, but she’s also not a brat about it.
“She’s confident, she doesn’t second guess herself, and she’s very, very sure of who she is.
“I think that in a world, especially now with phones and social media, it’s very easy to jump from personality to personality, or not really be sure what you want to say, or what you can say.
“Any frustration, any annoyance, any whatever, she makes it known, and I think that’s really powerful.”
