Amanda Owen left 'in the dark' as ex Clive's Our Yorkshire Farm spin-off takes Channel 5 by storm | The Sun
AMANDA Owen has revealed her home was forced into "darkness" shortly after her ex-husband Clive's rival show aired on Channel 5.
The Yorkshire Shepherdess, 47, keeps her followers up to date on her family's adventures in Ravenseat via her social media.
Amanda revealed she was forced to resort to using candles for light after her countryside home was left in the dark due to a major power cut.
Taking to Twitter, the TV star shared a snap of one of her young daughters as she held up a candle while the house was pitch dark.
She captioned the post: "No electric on the farm," followed by the hashtags "#darkness, #candlelight #fire #backtobasics."
Amanda later told her 207.3k followers that she also had a busted pipe to fix.
This comes after the first episode of her husband Clive Owen's show, Beyond the Yorkshire farm, aired on Channel 5.
Earlier this month, Amanda broke her silence after her ex-husband Clive's new show replaced Our Yorkshire Farm.
The first episode featured the pair digging a series of pools in Cumbria and also the father-son duo discussing Reuben's relationship with girlfriend Sarah.
