Andy Smart dead: Comedian dies 'unexpectedly' aged 63 as Eddie Izzard pays tribute to his talent | The Sun
COMEDIAN Andy Smart has died "unexpectedly" at the age of 63.
Tributes are flooding in for the funny man who was known for performing with improvisation group The Comedy Store Players.
His daughter Grace broke the tragic news on his Twitter page today.
She wrote: "I’m very sorry to let you all know that dad passed away unexpectedly last night.
"He had so many friends and such a great life. Raise a glass for him."
Right up until his death he continued to improvise on stage every Wednesday and Sunday at The Comedy Store, London.
His fellow comedians and celebrities have rushed to pay tribute to the "legend".
Eddie Izzard wrote: "Very sorry to hear this Grace. Andy was a very funny man and a great improviser. His talent will be missed."
Dara O'Briain added: "That is such terrible news, I’m so sorry to hear that.
"Condolences to Andy’s family and friends; he was such a force for joy, and will be sorely missed."

And Milton Jones said: "Upset to hear this. Few seem to manage to enjoy life both on and off stage as much as he did.
"Sorry to his closest. I’ll miss his grin."
