ITV is dedicating much of its schedule today to the final day of the Six Nations and as a result, Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway has felt the effects. Now, those tuning into ITV in the programme’s usual 7pm time slot are set for disappointment.
Saturday Night Takeaway instead will air at 7:15pm as a result of ITV’s schedule throughout the day.
The network has a packed afternoon of sport, with the rugby clash between France and Wales beginning at 1:55pm.
Coverage of the Six Nations match will run until 4:30pm where it will be followed by the hotly-anticipated Ireland and England head-to-head.
ITV has dedicated two hours and 45 minutes to the Grand Slam decider, meaning Ant and Dec will appear at the new time of 7:15pm.
Starstruck follows at 8:45pm while The Jonathan Ross Show will air at 9:55pm before ITV News at 10:55pm.
Despite the change in schedule, fans can still expect Ant and Dec’s typical blend of laughs and entertainment this evening.
Details have already emerged of what’s on the way, including a stint from Toni Collette as guest announcer.
The show’s fan-favourite “Get Out Of Me Ear” will also return with Joe Wicks this time in the firing line.
Elsewhere on tonight’s show, Ant and Dec will bring viewers the next instalment in their star-studded drama skit Murder at Bigwig Manor.
And singer Jake Shears will take to the stage to sing out the show at the End of the Show Show.
Last week’s episode of Saturday Night Takeaway delivered the show’s usual hi-jinx but one mishap in particular caught fans’ attention.
