Awkward moment Love Island’s Luca Bish tells Gemma Owen that she’s ‘changed for the better’ on Good Morning Britain | The Sun
LOVE Island 's Gemma Owen was left open-mouthed after Luca Bish told her she had "changed for the better" after leaving the villa.
The fishmonger, 23, and the dressage rider, 19, joined co-hosts Richard Madeley and Charlotte Hawkins on Good Morning Britain on Monday.
The pair discussed how they've adjusted to life outside of the villa and their newfound fame.
Charlotte quizzed the Gemma on her feelings for Luca, the host said: "The reunion show last night when you were asked about your feelings and you said you feel more now.
"So just tell us about that because you sort of felt you were constrained by the show."
Gemma replied: "Absolutely, I feel like in the villa there was only a certain amount of feelings I could get for Luca in that environment because you've got nothing to do with the outside.
"So I got to that point in the last week or two and I just wanted to get out and start experiencing stuff, have normal life, we've only been out a week already."
Host Richard then asked: "You fell in love in this weird bubble on national television, now that you're out in the real world, do either of you seem a bit different to each other now that you're out of that weird reality?"
Luca was quick to say that he'd noticed a change in Gemma since leaving the villa.
"You've changed a little…for the better, you've come more out of your shell…when I saw you with your mum and stuff and when we were in the hotel," he revealed.

A stunned Charlotte and Richard gasped, while Gemma looked unimpressed with Luca's comment.
Gemma explained: "I just feel like with my mum, I'm super close to my mum and he probably hasn't seen that weird side to me just yet."
Elsewhere in the interview, Luca revealed that he's still not met Gemma's famous footballer father Michael Owen, one week since leaving the villa.
But Gemma broke her silence on her dad's thoughts on her time on the ITV2 dating show, saying he was "proud of her.
She said: "He [Michael] said he's so proud and I've not done anything to disgrace us, so he's happy. Everyone seems buzzing."
