BBC Breakfasts Naga Munchetty returns to show following unexplained absence

BBC Breakfast's Naga Munchetty made a return to screens on Friday morning (March 8) after she was missing from the show for almost three weeks.

The 48-year-old, who presents the programme alongside Charlie Stayt from Thursday to Saturday, left a number of viewers concerned after they noticed she had been replaced three Thursdays in a row.

But during the latest episode, Naga was back on the red sofa and was welcomed back by a number of avid viewers.

Heading over to Twitter, one person wrote: "Welcome back Naga @BBCBreakfast and the cast."
