BBC show arrange cast to stay at swingers hotel with guests wandering around
Hi-De-Hi! legend Su Pollard has swapped the holiday camp for a swingers’ hotel.
The actress, 73, had the saucy encounter while filming the latest series of BBC travel show Pilgrimage with a host of other celebs.
While trekking through Portugal, producers arranged for them to stay at a venue that is popular with randy couples who like to wife swap.
Su said: “They put us in a hotel and it was one for swingers. We found out about it while we were there.

“You could just tell because people were doing little glances at each other and winks. People were wandering off and not coming back. Anyone into swinging should go there.”
Su was staying at the hotel with fellow stars including ex-EastEnders actress Rita Simons, and Paralympic skier Millie Knight, 24.
They all got a thrill when they found out what the other guests were getting up to. Su, who play Peggy in Hi-De-Hi!, said: “It was fabulous. It gave us a giggle.
“And why not? Because we knew we had a six-hour trek the next day.”
Pilgrimage involves celebs trekking 364km over 15 days. Su hopes it will inspire others to try.
She added: “People should do it. But don’t book our hotel."
Previous seasons have seen stars tackle routes like the Camino de Santiago and the Via Francigena, but this time, they will be heading to the sanctuary in the Portuguese city of Fatima.
The celebrities’ 364km (226 miles) pilgrimage will begin in Valença, a town on Portugal’s border with Spain, and will take them through some of the most stunning landscapes in northern Portugal.
They will have the chance to drop in on various landmarks, including Bom Jesus do Monte, a Christian sanctuary, and a nunnery in Coimbra, the capital of Portugal back in the Middle Ages.
This time, the stars will be travelling on a deadline as they need to arrive in Fatima in time for a special candlelit vigil, which will be attended by almost 70,000 pilgrims from across the world in celebration of the apparition of the Virgin Mary.

The group won’t be journeying in luxury: they’ll be carrying their luggage on their backs and sleeping in hostels, campsites and even a working fire station.
According to the show’s executive producer Caroline Matthews, the new cast will "physically dig deep, talk faith and ponder life’s big questions", with "strong camaraderie, tears and a healthy dollop of humour to see them through their epic journey".
The series starts on April 7 at 9pm on BBC Two
