BBC The Traitors star admits he became such a good liar even wife was caught out
The Traitors’ Wilfred Webster was so good at lying on the show it even shocked his wife.
During his stint with the BBC series he had to fib to stay in the game.
He was so convincing he made it to the final.
Wilfred told me: “I didn’t realise how good I’d be at the game. I didn’t know I could be so good at lying.

“When it aired, my wife Panayiota was very impressed. She was like, ‘I didn’t realise you could lie that well’. I had to say I don’t lie to her like that!
“People don’t trust me anymore – they keep asking if they can trust me.”
More than three million fans were gripped by the show back in December.
And Wilfred still gets recognised.
He said: “The reaction from people has mostly been good. But not from everyone. I went to get in a lift the other day and asked if there was space and this elderly woman said, ‘Not for you’.
“I genuinely had to wait for the next lift.”
There have been some upsides to his newfound fame because he’s getting plenty of lucrative offers.
Wilfred said: “The show has opened a lot of doors and given me a lot of opportunities.”
The Traitors has been confirmed for a second series, much to the delight of fans, and Claudia Winkleman will be returning as host.
Claudia said of the news: "I can’t wait to go back to the castle to watch people play the greatest game on television. I’m knitting a high funnel sweater immediately."
Kalpna Patel-Knight, head of entertainment at the BBC, said: "Last year’s ambitious and binge-able hit The Traitors with Claudia Winkleman is coming back with the brilliant team at Studio Lambert set to bring viewers another magnificent series full of drama and suspense.
"We can certainly expect even more deceit and psychological games for the Traitors and Faithfuls."
