Drama is never too far away when it comes to the Below Deck franchise and Below Deck: Sailing Yacht is no different.

Season four made its debut on Bravo last month with a new episode coming out every Monday, sharing the next chapter of the crew’s latest on-board adventure.

Some of its stars have been in the series from the very beginning, including the close-knit team of Gary King, Daisy Kelliher and Colin MacRae.

There was a previous romance between Gary and Daisy who shared a kiss while still working on the yacht.

But no one expected chief stew Daisy to start hooking up with engineer Colin MacRae in season four.

Even though he was actually on board while this romance began, Captain Glenn Shephard admitted this wasn’t something he expected to happen.

Speaking to Showbiz Cheat Sheet, he said: “There’s some interesting stuff going on there between the department heads.

“I can’t say too much about it, but, yeah, I was a little surprised.

“But there’s so much love between those people. Those guys, I call them the Dream Team, Gary, Daisy, Colin.

“We’ve done this for a few seasons now. They’re great people. They love each other. And I don’t know, tune in and you’ll see some very interesting stuff.”

Already in the fourth series, Gary has kissed Mads Herrara but it is well known that he’s had a crush on Daisy for a long time.

In the trailer, Gary is seen finding out about her hooking up with Colin and he is far from happy.

“You know you like me, deep down. And I feel you’re hooking up to get back at me. Spitefully hooking up.”

But does Daisy actually have feelings for Gary and if so, will she ever admit it now that she’s started hooking up with Colin?

Season four, episode seven, Smoke on the Water, will air on Sunday, May 21, on Bravo.

The description for the instalment reads: “Engine trouble leads Capt. Glenn to adjust plans, entertain guests, and tackle crew errors.

“Daisy and Colin bond after disputes, while Daisy confronts Gary over Mads.

“Chase lightens the mood with tipsy Twister and unexpected yoga.”
