Better viewers rip into 'waste of time' ending – blasting BBC for 'cheating' them with final episode | The Sun
BETTER viewers have ripped into its 'waste of time' ending – and blasted the BBC for 'cheating' them with the final episode.
The brand new BBC One series concluded on Monday night after a short five-episode run.
Set in Leeds, it followed the life of DI Lou Slack, who is played by Leila Farzad as she tries to turn her corrupt lifestyle around.
However, viewers watched as she ended up creating more problems for herself.
DI Slack's actions ultimately saw her colleague Esther Okoye go on sick leave due to stress.
Meanwhile, her ally Vernon Marley was killed in prison.

While a fifth said: "Better really needed a better ending!!"
It's unclear if there will be a second series of Better.
