In order to promote Renaissance, the star musician changed all of her bios on social media once again.
On Monday, June 20, the former Destiny's Child member edited her online information to reflect the upcoming release of the album's first single.
On Wednesday, July 27, Renaissance leaked two days before its release date.
That night, a number of the songs from the LP were illegally made available for download on the web, with a number of social media sleuths claiming that physical CD copies of the record were already being shopped around in France.
In September 2021, the performer did tease that she was working on new music.
During an interview with Harper's Bazaar, Beyoncé stated: "With all the isolation and injustice over the past year, I think we are all ready to escape, travel, love, and laugh again.
"I feel a renaissance emerging, and I want to be part of nurturing that escape in any way possible."
The GRAMMY-winning superstar added: "I’ve been in the studio for a year and a half."
"Sometimes it takes a year for me to personally search through thousands of sounds to find just the right kick or snare."
She confirmed: "After 31 years, it feels just as exciting as it did when I was nine years old. Yes, the music is coming!"
When did Beyoncé release Break My Soul?
Break My Soul was the first song promoted from the project and was made available for listeners at 12am on Tuesday, June 21.
On Thursday, June 30, she released the cover art for Renaissance and went into detail about the inspiration behind the new album.
Beyoncé wrote on Instagram: "Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world."
"It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving."
The Single Ladies singer further explained: "My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment."
"A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, and feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of exploration."
She added: "I hope you find joy in this music. I hope it inspires you to release the wiggle."
"Ha! And to feel as unique, strong, and sexy as you are."
Is Beyoncé going on tour?
In the wake of the new music news, a source told The Sun that Beyoncé and her team are already scouting venues in the UK for a tour surrounding her Renaissance album.
The source revealed: "Beyonce’s new album is ready but this era will be like no other.
"She wrote most of the songs during the pandemic, when she was desperate to be with her fans and perform."
The insider further shared: "This new record and campaign will be her most interactive one yet because she wants to reach out to the fans.
