Big Scarr dead – Gucci Mane pays tribute to rapper, 22, in emotional post saying 'this hurts' | The Sun
RAPPER Big Scarr has died at the age of 22, Gucci Mane has confirmed.
His fellow rapper led tributes to Big Scarr – who was born Alexander Woods – saying “this hurts”.
The star, from Memphis, Tennessee, was part of 42-year-old Gucci Mane's 1017 Records.
The Shade Room first broke the news, which was then seemingly confirmed by 'Wake Up In the Sky' hitmaker.
The cause of Scarr's death is currently unknown, and no confirmation has been given from police or local news.
Alongside images of the rapper, Gucci wrote: “This hurts. I’m a miss you."

After the news began circulating online, others began posting tributes.
Fellow 1017 label artist Enchanting put a tribute on her Instagram stories followed by a broken heart emoji.
"'Ion wanna talk. Sorry if I don't answer. I just can't," she wrote.
"I can't take it bro please just leave me alone I ain't never felt like this," with a broken heart emoji and an anguished face emoji."

Posting a photo of Big Scarr, she continued: "My babbbyyy my best friend my son I love you forever & im so sorry."
Tony MC tweeted: "Big Scarr has reportedly passed away.
"He just wrapped up a major year & was preparing to tour with Key Glock and perform at Rolling Loud LA next year.
"The worst part is that he died right before the holidays.
"My condolences go out to his family, Gucci Mane & 1017. RIP Big Scarr."
Jamaican-American podcaster and YouTuber DJ Akademiks, 31, took to Twitter with a tribute, writing, 'RIP Big Scarr.'
Big Scarr began taking rap seriously in 2019 after his friend and rapper Baby K convinced him to try his hand at it.
Thatyear "Make a Play" received over 50,000 views on YouTube in one week.
He was then signed to Gucci Mane's label in 2020 and made his commercial debut in 2020 with SoIcyBoyz.

Big Scarr appeared on The New 1017 compilation album “Gucci Mane Presents: So Icy Summer” in July 2020 alongside label mates Pooh Shiesty and Foogiano.
The rapper was due to go tour with Key Glock in the spring.
