Blood is shed in violent showdown between Cain and Will in Emmerdale

There’s been bad blood between Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) and Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) for a while now in Emmerdale, ever since Will falsely accused Sam Dingle (James Hooton) of stealing his watch and prevented him from seeing his son Kyle (Huey Quinn).

Cain sought revenge by letting Kim (Claire King)’s prize horse out of its stall and Will was humiliated as he proved to be entirely useless around horses and Caleb (William Ash) had to save the day.

More recently Will got involved after Nicky (Lewis Cope) told him that Cain had beaten him up after he went to enquire about Cain’s son stealing Lucas (Noah Ryan Aspinall)’s toy telescope.

There was a lot more to it than that, as Cain had caught Nicky attempting to steal an expensive car he was working on, but Cain didn’t push this point with Will and instead handed back the telescope that his son Isaac (Bobby Dunsmoir) had ‘acquired.’

This feud is set to reignite in upcoming episodes as Will decides to confront Cain at the garage about his recent behaviour, but Cain turns the tables and forces him to concede and apologise.

If only Cain could have left it there, but he follows this by making a remark about Kim that totally riles Will – and he reacts by punching Cain.

Luckily Jimmy (Nick Miles) and Caleb are on hand to break up the fight before too much damage is done, but both men are left seething.

It looks like Kim’s family could get the last laugh, though, after Kim discovers that the land Caleb was supposed to buy for the stud farm has fallen through, but there’s another piece of land that would work equally well.

The problem is that this land is part of Butlers Farm – Cain and Moira (Natalie J. Robb)’s property.

Will Caleb be willing to betray his own family in order to carry on his pretence that he’s working on Kim’s behalf?
