Caleb's fate confirmed after Emmerdale attack – is he alive or dead?
There are several people in Emmerdale who would gladly see Caleb (Will Ash) dead. Following his horror fall, the village waits with bated breath to see if he pulls through or to see if a local guilty of murder.
Having hacked off many of the village’s residents, a mystery assailant pushed Caleb to his possible death from a ridge in the woods and left him to succumb to his injuries.
Given his recent antics, many may think he deserved it. But he’s not all bad – with actor Will Ash confirming Caleb had intentions to put things right with Cain and Moira.
He also revealed to Metro.co.uk that he ‘massively regrets’ how he’s been treating Nicky.
Will said: ‘I think he massively regrets how he’s treated Nicky. He became so obsessed with Home Farm, and kind of reclaiming what he felt was his inheritance and avenging his dad’s death, that he just lost sight of everything else.’
He added: ‘I think he feels terrible that he used Cain and Moira’s farm as collateral.

I think he had all the best intentions of reimbursing them and looking after them, but I think he massively regrets ruining that relationship.’
So deep down he’s actually a good egg. Has the possible murderer made a terrible mistake and killed a man who didn’t deserve to die?
Following the fall, Caleb is in a sorry state and the Dingles are left watching over him as he clings to life, with Chas (Lucy Pargeter) the most upset of the lot at the prospect of losing the half-brother she’s only just found.
She’s suspicious his injuries are down to Cain (Jeff Hordley) and worries that one brother could die at the hands of another.
While Caleb teeters on the brink of death in hospital, the finger is being pointed back home.
Will’s (Dean Andrews) strange behaviour raises eyebrows, leading to Kim (Claire King) to having to corroborate his story to the police moments before giving Will hell over whatever it is he’s hiding.
Leyla (Roxy Shahidi) is another shifty one who’s alibi is being held together by a hair, and Mack (Lawrence Robb) looks the guiltiest, with an alibi that doesn’t add up and Chloe (Jessie Elland) turning on him through her suspicions.
Mack is questioned by police, but when his razor thin alibi collapses, Mack is arrested and taken to the station for a grilling.
As the questioning goes on, he starts to panic as he realises the severity of the situation he’s in. Things must be bad as even Charity starts to worry about what’s happening to Mack.
Just as things look as bleak as can be, Chas gets a call that could mean the difference between murder investigation and an attempted murder investigation – Caleb is being brought out of his coma.
He’s survived! Could he be about to reveal who has pushed him? Could this let Mack off the hook, or will this be his damning moment?
