Carol Kirkwood wows BBC Breakfast viewers in 'absolutely stunning' figure hugging dress | The Sun

CAROL Kirkwood sent fans into a spin as she dazzled this morning as she updated the country on the day's weather on BBC Breakfast.

The 60 year old star had BBC viewers swooning as they complimented the presenter on her stunning dress.

Carol flaunted her body in the figure-hugging number and ensured that all eyes were on her.

The dress featured a black bottom half with a lighter top and a floral pattern reaching across the dress.

This added a pop of colour as different shades of pink pulsated through as an always cheery Carol got on with her job.

Remarking on the star's incredible look, one fan wrote online: "Pretty dress @carolkirkwood Husband opinioned it's nicely fitting and he's right."

Another added: "@carolkirkwood you look absolutely stunning in that dress."

As a third said: "@carolkirkwood you look fab in that lovely dress this morning!"

It comes as Carol was left red-faced after making an epic blunder on the programme this morning.

The show was being hosted by BBC Breakfast regular Nina Warhurst and BBC North West Tonight star Roger Johnson.

However, as Carol handed back to the studio following her bulletin she mistook Roger for Jon Kay in hilarious scenes.

As she wrapped up the report, 60 year old Carol simply said: "Nina and Jon."

At first, professional Nina swiftly carried on as Roger silently chuckled to himself before she addressed the incredible mistake.

Nina, 42, said back to Carol: "Thank you so much Carol – by the way this is Roger!"

The studio plummeted into an awkward silence as Carol gasped and put her hand to her mouth in utter shock as she realised her unfortunate mix-up.
