Channel 4 fans heartbroken as George Michael show explores his coming out story

Channel 4 viewers have shared the same reaction following a "heartbreaking"George Michael documentary, which explored the late superstar's life.
The show, titled George Michael: Outed, hit screens on Monday (March 6), and soon after its debut, upset viewers flocked to Twitter to share reactions about the doc's findings.
It featured never-before-heard audio of George – who died of heart disease on Christmas Day in 2016 – and interviews with his friends and family as candid details about his life were shared.

Fans quickly learned how the young Wham! singer was forced to speak publicly about his sexuality, which made international headlines, more than 25 years ago following a "scandal".
Taking to social media, viewers were "heartbroken" to learn about the impact of the tragedy.
"George Michael was a beautiful soul. One of the best people to ever exist. I hate that he was outed," penned one fan.
While a second wrote: "I'm heartbroken watching this George Michael documentary. It's disgusting what happened to him."
A third coined: "George Michael deserved so much better. It's hard to know how much pain he was in back then."
It comes after George was caught engaging in a sexual act by an undercover police officer in a public toilet in Beverly Hills in April 1998.
He was handed a £500 fine and 80 hours of community service for the incident, but that was just the "beginning of his hell" as he made headlines around the globe.
Following the incident, he went publically with his sexuality and his relationship with US businessman Kenny Goss.
He later admitted: "I had my very first relationship at 27 because I really had not actually come to terms with my sexuality until I was 24."
He added: "I lost my partner to HIV then it took about three years to grieve. Then, after that, I lost my mother.I felt almost like I was cursed."
Michael admitted how hiding his sexuality for so many years had taken a serious toll on his mental health and said it made him feel "fraudulent".
The Careless Whisper singer went on to sell more than 100 million records worldwide during his 35-year career.
