Coronation Street spoiler video: Alya confronts Bridget over Lucy's lie

Alya (Sair Khan) is determined to get to the bottom of Charlie’s murder, a new Coronation Street video has shown.

Taking matters into her own hands, she visits the salon where Bridget (Beth Vyse) works in order to question her about her mother’s statement.

Bridget is reluctant to talk to her, ignoring her completely when Alya introduces herself as a friend of Stu (Bill Fellows). However, Alya follows her into the salon, determined to get some answers.

She asks Bridget to clarify some details about the night of the murder, and Bridget confirms that because she sleeps with headphones in, she didn’t hear her dad return home.

Alya points out that while she may not have heard anything, Lucy (Lynda Rooke) must have.

Their conversation is interrupted by Bridget’s daughter, Eliza, and Alya is left with no new information.

Can she convince Bridget to get Lucy to tell the truth?

The quest for answers continues next week and leads to a positive step thanks to the arrival of Dee-Dee (Channique Sterling-Brown), who manages to find the address of DI Lennox – the dodgy copper who treated Stu horrifically when he was questioned after Charlie was killed.
