Coronation Street star loved up as she enjoys date night with husband
Coronation Street star Tina O’Brien enjoyed a night away from the cobbles with her husband.
The actress, who plays Sarah Platt on the ITV soap, was pictured with hubby Adam Croft in Manchester, as they headed out for the night.
The couple, who got married back in 2018, attended the Lemons press night at the Opera House Theatre, and stopped for a few pictures along the way.
Tina, 39, wore a black blazer and skirt, paired with a white blouse, while Adam wore a green shirt with black jeans.
It’s been a busy few weeks for Tina’s Corrie character Sarah, who had had her head turned by new gangster Damon Hay (Ciarán Griffiths).
Damon, as viewers know, made Nick Tilsley’s life a living hell, and Sarah was less than pleased when she discovered that husband Adam was planning on taking him on as a client due to his firm’s financial difficulties.
After a row with her beau on the subject, Sarah headed out to a hotel where sparks flew between she and Damon, who was also propping up the bar after a tough day.
‘She has a few drinks at the bar and bumps into this guy and they end up getting chatting,’ Tina said of the development. ‘There probably is an attraction there.
‘It’s that freedom that he doesn’t know anything about her life, she can put all her life stress to the side and just have a bit of meaningless flirt at the bar, basically.’
‘I think she’s just got caught up in the moment,’ Tina said in her character’s defence. ‘[Damon] also does goad her a little bit, reminding her she said she was an independent woman who can make her own mind up.
‘For a minute she just thinks screw you Adam, because he has said a few mean things to her in the Rovers. So she invites him up but I think once she gets him up there, reality kicks in and she realises this is a bad idea.

‘It’s then a matter of whether she’ll back away from the situation before more damage is done.’
Sarah did leave before she and Damon took their spark to the next level, but she subsequently discovered that this Damon was the very same Damon who tormented her brother!
Sarah had a few choice words to say in Damon’s direction and as she headed home with Adam, it appeared the matter had ended.
That evening, after popping to the shop to get some wine, Sarah then met up with Damon in the ginnel and told him to stay away from her and her family.
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
