Coronation Street teams up with beloved ITV show for epic crossover episode | The Sun

CORONATION Street will be teaming up with ITV daytime favourite This Morning for a huge one-off live celebration.

The famous cobbles will play host to This Morning, who will broadcast their special live Coronation party from Weatherfield on Friday the 5th of May.

Alison Hammond announced the news live on air today alongside leading ladies of the Rovers, Sally Ann Matthews (Jenny Connor) and Jodie Prenger (Glenda Shuttleworth).

This Morning will broadcast a special full edition of the programme right from the cobbles with Alison confirming even the show's iconic sofa will be travelling up to Salford for the programme.

Alison will host the edition alongside her right-hand man Dermot O'Leary ahead of the King's Coronation weekend.

Whilst This Morning has occasionally been presented from special one-off locations in the past, this will mark the first time it has crossed over with one of ITV's biggest shows.
