Coronation Streets Tracy Barlow makes sacrifice for Amy after court threat
Coronation Street: Aaron kisses Amy as she drunkenly passes out
Coronation Street’s Amy Barlow (played by Elle Mulvaney) has felt let down that Aaron Sandford (James Craven) has been able to stroll around Weatherfield and move on with his ex-girlfriend.
Despite having her friends and family on her side, Amy still feels isolated, with official spoilers revealing things are about to turn nasty as a court case ensues.
In upcoming scenes, Amy spots Mia at the garage and decides she needs to tell her about being raped.
Mia’s left shocked but refuses to believe the story and accuses Amy of making the whole thing up.
Abi Franklin (Sally Carman) has been supporting Aaron over the last couple of weeks, but Amy assures the mechanic she’s telling the truth, leaving her to rethink the alliances.
Later, Mia is still baffled by the interaction with Amy and confronts Aaron over the rape allegation.
However, Aaron is adamant they slept together once, Amy cried rape but then changed her mind and the police dropped the case.
After hearing Aaron’s side of the story, Mia is appalled to think Amy’s dragging his name through the mud.
Elsewhere, DS Swain (Vicky Myers) calls at No.1 and tells Amy a serious allegation of harassment has been made against her.

Furious at the injustice of her situation, Amy sets about writing up her whole dreadful ordeal in a bid to make herself feel better.
Reading what his daughter has written, Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) encourages Amy to post her document about Aaron on social media, which she does.
Later at the garage, Abi and Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) tell Aaron they’ve read Amy’s online post and he can find himself another job.
Meanwhile, Eric Sandford (Craig Cheetham) vows to make Amy pay, and later calls at No.1 and reveals he’s suing Amy for libel.
When Amy receives a letter from Eric’s solicitor ordering her to take down her post or they’ll sue, Steve advises her to stick to her guns but Dee Dee Bailey (Shannique Sterling-Brown) warns them that a libel case could end up costing them a fortune.
Tracy’s adamant they’ll fight it all the way, but the couple soon realises they’ll have to sell their businesses to fund the legal fees.
Later, Eric and Aaron meet up with their solicitor who warns them of the risks of taking the case to court.
Pushing ahead, Tracy arranges for a valuation on the florists so she can find the money to help give her daughter justice.
Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8pm on ITV.
