Damon in Coronation Street warns son Jacob that he is going to die
It wasn’t going to be long until we saw Damon Hay’s (Ciaran Griffiths) true colours in Coronation Street.
To the small handful of Weatherfield residents he’s met so far, Damon appears a charming character but to Jacob (Jack James Ryan), his son, the real character appears – and it’s not a nice one.
With Damon a partner at the Bistro, he’s swapped around a few deliveries for the restaurant, and they involve one dangerous thing – smuggling drugs.
Since Damon’s plan got underway, Jacob has now began working as a waiter to sort the boxes out and ensure no one else discovers what his dad is up to.
Tonight, that didn’t really go to plan.
In for a meal were a group of police officers – and their sniffer dog.
This set Jacob’s paranoia through the roof. He was making mistakes and throwing items everywhere, which made Nick (Ben Price) curious.
When the sniffer dog’s ears pricked up, Jacob panicked, grabbed the drugs and returned home to his flat.
Fortunately, after flushing the substances down the toilet, the dog failed to find any traces.
Meeting up with Damon in the ginnel, Jacob broke the news to his dad that he destroyed the drugs after a sniffer dog and a group of police officers came in for a meal – and Damon was furious.
The newcomer’s anger grew, he told Jacob that he’s dead to him and gave his son a choice.
Does he run away and live, or stay and die?
