Dancing On Ice 2023 LATEST — The Vivienne reveals emotional song choice ahead of sem-final twist tonight | The Sun
THE Vivienne has revealed the emotional inspiration behind her song choices for tonight's Dancing On Ice semi-final.
Hit ITV show Dancing On Ice – which launched last January with some of Britain's biggest TV stars – will soon be crowning its 2023 winner.
And speaking of her choice of song for the semi-final, The Vivenne told the MailOnline: "For my personal song, I’m going to be skating to Over the Rainbow. As a young boy I really fell in love with The Wizard of Oz because it just made me feel like anything was possible. I knew I was different but I didn’t know what it was but seeing Dorothy who knew there was a bigger world out there than Kansas definitely struck something with me."
It comes as it was earlier revealed the five remaining contestants will have to perform two dances each – but there's a twist as they will perform their second routines WITHOUT their pro partners.
Revealing the double elimination at the end of last week's show, Philip Schofield said: He said: "I have some big news about the semi-final because I can reveal that next week there will be a double elimination. Not one but two couples will be leaving the competition."

“We were all surprised because until now they’ve danced around what’s happening, you know lots of ‘he’s great’, ‘she’s great’, lunches and attending parties, to the point where I think everyone wondered if there was anything other than a flirty friendship there.
“But there was nothing friendly about these kisses, if you get what I mean.
“Good on them!”

Matt Lapinskas admits that two judges aren’t as involved with the skaters
Speaking with the Daily Star, Matt Lapinskas said that Christopher Dean and Jayne Torvill aren’t as much involved in preparations for the show.
The 2013 contestant said: “This is a little secret actually – you see a lot of Chris and Jayne teaching the couples the routine and everything but obviously Chris and Jayne are very busy.
“You see them on Monday when they give you your music and teach you a bit of routine and the rest of the week you’re off with other coaches and you don’t see the again until Sunday.
“So, even though it looks like they’re training you every day, you’re only with them for one day and you’re actually off and in your own hands. That’s why I said it’s really important to listen to the coaches.
“The other coaches work closely with Chris and Jayne but it’s more the coaches and your partner who get you through the week.”
