Dancing on Ice star suffers nasty neck injury in terrifying training accident | The Sun
DANCING On Ice star Darren Harriott has suffered a horrific injury after falling on his neck whilst practicing a lift.
The comedian, famous for shows including Love Island: Aftersun, had an accident on the rink with partner Tippy Packard.
He explained he has been left with whiplash and is unable to turn his head or lift one arm.
Darren, 34, told his fans what had happened in a post on Instagram this afternoon.
He said: "Soooooo… I fell backwards yesterday on the ice near the end of my lesson and I now have whiplash.
"I can't turn my head properly or raise my left arm. This is a big week for everyone on Dancing on Ice because it's promo filming and show and tell so I'm gutted."

However, he sounded a more optimistic note, adding: "I need a few days to bring down the inflammation and then it's back to 'Spice on ice' with my amazing partner."
Warming to this theme, the stand-up went on: "Does anyone else hear whiplash and immediately think about fake accident claims?
"Everyone would always add whiplash on top for a claim. 'Ye tell em you got whiplash too they won't check.'"
Darren spoke about his fears doing Dancing on Ice when he was revealed as a contestant on the 2023 series back in October.

He explained: "I've got the biggest feet they've ever had on the show they've said – I'm only a size 13.
