Dead to Me is the unexpected hit black comedy on Netflix that subscribers have been loving since it first came out in 2019. Fans have had to wait two years for this next outing with filming delayed thanks to the coronavirus pandemic but thankfully, the wait is almost over. Express.co.uk has everything there is to know about the cast of Dead to Me season three.

Who is in the cast of Dead to Me season 3?
Jen – Christina Applegate
Hot-headed widow Jen joined the grief support group after her husband Ted died in a hit and run accident.
Fast-forward to season three and she is now best friends with Judy (Linda Cardellini), the woman who ran him over, and killed her abusive fiancé Steve (James Marsden) in self-defence as he refused to leave their home.
But at the end of series two, a dog was seen digging up his body in the woods so are Jen and Judy going to be found out?
Actress Christina Applegate has starred in a plethora of comedies over the years, including Heart of the City, Jesse, Friends, Anchorman, Samantha Who? and Bad Moms.
She originally rose to fame as a child star as Kelly Bundy in Married with Children.
Judy – Linda Cardellini
Free spirit Judy has had a traumatic past with her abusive ex-partner, several miscarriages and accidentally killing Ted.
She is going to be once again be in the firing line as it is discovered Steve has been murdered so only time will if Judy will be able to handle the heat.
Apart from Dead to Me, actress Linda Cardellini is best known for her roles in Freaks and Geeks, ER, The Curse of La Llorona and Bloodline.
She also famously played Velma in the 2002 children’s movie Scooby-Doo.
Ben – James Marsden
Actor James Marsden was initially supposed to leave Dead to Me for good once Steve was killed but the writers were keen to keep him on board and so introduced his twin brother Ben.
While unlike his deceased brother, Ben isn’t completely innocent as he ran into Judy and Jen’s car at the end of season two and drove off.
Marsden has been in 27 Dresses, Enchanted, Hairspray, X-Men, Mrs America and The Stand.
Most recently, he has been starring as Teddy Flood in the futuristic drama Westworld.

Ana Perez – Diana Maria Riva
Detective Ana Perez has been on Jen and Judy’s case from the very beginning, suspicious of what they have been up to.
She will soon get to interrogate her prime suspects again in the third series.
Actress Diana Maria Riva has featured in Gordita Chronicles, Noelle, Man with a Plan and Sunnyside.
Eleanor – Katey Sagal
Judy’s mum Eleanor, who was in prison, was introduced in the second season.
Actress Katey Sagal was Gemma Teller Morrow in Sons of Anarchy, Peggy in Married with Children and the voice of Leela in the animated comedy Futurama.
While fans are thrilled to welcome back Dead to Me, it is bittersweet as it has been confirmed this will be the final season.
Taking to Twitter at the time of the announcement in 2020, Applegate wrote: “I will miss these ladies.
“But we felt this was the best way to tie up the story of these women.
“Thank you to all the fans. We will be getting back to work when it is safe to do so. Much love.”
Dead to Me season 3 premieres on Thursday, November 17, on Netflix.
