Devastating death trauma in Hollyoaks as resident's mum dies
Victor Brothers (Benjamin O’Mahoney) will be left devastated in the wake of his return to Hollyoaks, as he opens up to Sid Sumner (Billy Price) about the tragic death of his mum.
The drugs lord is currently behind bars for the havoc he wreaked two years ago as the primary antagonist in the Country Lines storyline, grooming numerous teens into selling drugs.
He reaches out to Sid, who he almost killed, in upcoming scenes, and Sid ultimately decides to pay him a visit, which is when Victor reveals that his mum has died.
Juliet Nightingale (Niamh Blackshaw), meanwhile, gets wind that her best friend is in touch with Victor once more, and knowing how Victor almost destroyed their lives, she does whatever she can to talk him out of going to meet him.
Sid, however, believes Victor’s web of lies about being a changed man, and ultimately agrees to attend his mum’s funeral with him – as a way of Victor proving to the others in attendance that he’s a changed man.
Knowing there’s little she can to do stop him, Juliet pleads with Sid to keep Victor at arm’s length. Victor, meanwhile, makes a sinister call from prison, evidently up to no good.
The day of the funeral arrives and Sid is there to support Victor. Despite Sid reassuring her that he’ll be fine, Juliet decides to go and check on him, and her theory about Victor’s villainy proves correct.
Yes, Victor turns sinister, and it becomes apparent that he’s using his mum’s funeral as an attempt to escape.
Sid, meanwhile, is taken captive amid all the horror, and Juliet walks right into danger, as both teens find themselves at Victor’s mercy once more!
Victor relishes in being back in control, and he’s keen for history to repeat itself as he forces Sid back into the world of drug-dealing, reassuring him that if he fails his mission, Juliet will die!
Will Sid do as Victor asks? Or will Juliet pay with her life?
