In scenes airing from Monday, May 15, Juliet receives devastating news at the hospital, where she has been recovering from a virus.
As Peri (Ruby O’Donnell) gets her hopes up that Juliet is on the road to recovery, she sets about decorating the house for her return.
But tragedy strikes. What happens to Juliet and do we know if she’s set to leave Hollyoaks for good?

As she is waiting to leave hospital, Juliet’s doctor tells her she’s clear from norovirus and allowed to go home.
But, before anyone prematurely celebrates, the happiness is short lived.
The doctor also informs Juliet that her kidney function hasn’t improved like they hoped and he wants to discuss future plans before she leaves.
In later scenes at the hospital, Juliet receives the news nobody wants to hear. Her cancer has spread.

Earlier this year, the soap aired temporary exit scenes for Juliet and Peri as the pair headed off to the hospital in Birmingham for a specialist treatment.
However, actress Niamh Blackshaw has given some insight into what could be next in interviews with Digital Spy.
She describes what’s keeping Juliet going: ‘I think what keeps Juliet positive is her inner fight – she won’t lose hope and she won’t give up without giving everything she can. But there is also her family and friends.
‘This gives her the strength she needs to keep going.’
Does this mean Juliet’s going to stick around and fight? Fans will have to stay tuned…
Hollyoaks airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.
