EastEnders actor reveals shock new career as a rapper and goes viral after fakery row | The Sun
EASTENDERS star Charlie Winter has revealed he’s ditched acting in favour of a rap career.
The actor, 26, who played Hunter Owen for a year in 2018, has gone viral after he was accused of faking his lifestyle by a fellow rapper.
Since leaving the soap, Charlie, who now goes by the name Chaz, has released snippets of his new music – often referencing being on the BBC show, but not everyone is impressed.
Rap star Dat Guy Ar recently hit out at Charlie after listening to his music, raging: “So you are telling me that ten years in jail, the hardship, the pain, the suffer, the risks I have had to take in my life – countless times I have just gone unnoticed in the music industry for people like this. Are you taking the p***?
“You are telling me a man from EastEnders with one dead track can come on talking road and be more believed than me?
“This guy probably came up in a good household, mum and dad. He ain’t got no bad story to tell.”

Charlie’s character arrived in Walford with his mum, returning character Mel – played by Tamzin Outhwaite – in February 2018.
Mel had fled Albert Square in 2002 after Hunter’s dad, Steve Owen, died in 2002 when the car he was driving crashed and exploded.
The pair then returned 16 years later and the teen was involved in one of the show's most dramatic storylines with viewers watching his character incarcerated after shooting his mum's cheating fiancé Ray Kelly when he threatened to kill her.
Mel helped him cover up the crime but in the end he was caught and took the blame so Mel would remain free.
