EastEnders, Emmerdale and Corrie all cancelled next week in soap schedule chaos

Soap fans are set to be left devastated as Coronation Street, Emmerdale and EastEnders have all been taken off the schedule for next week.

Starting from Tuesday, both BBC and ITV will have their schedules changed to make way for a number of FA Cup matches.

EastEnders is set to lose its usual Tuesday 7.30pm timing, and Emmerdale is being moved back to its old 7pm slot.

This is to make way for Fulham v Leeds, which kicks off at 7.45pm and is airing on both BBC and ITV.

On Wednesday, Manchester United will be taking on West Ham United at Old Trafford, which will also air on both ITV and BBC, meaning all the soaps will be cancelled for the night.

However, the channels are making up for it, as there will be an extra episode of EastEnders on Monday and Friday.

Emmerdale will air an hour long episode on Friday, while Corrie will air their usual Wednesday episode on Thursday at the same time of 8pm.

Soap fans will be gutted to hear the news, especially as EastEnders has aired a huge flash forward scene to Christmas 2023.

A mystery person is seen lying dead on the floor as Sharon, Stacey, Suki, Denise, Kathy and Linda all look at each other in horror.

The culprit and the victim are yet to be revealed, and it looks like fans will have to wait until the festive period to find out the truth.

But in the mean time, viewers are desperate to pick out as many clues as they can in the current episodes to try and work out who dies.

Meanwhile on Corrie, Amy Barlow is left horrified when she wakes up after a night out to discover she was raped by her friend Aaron.

After a boozy night, she wakes up to discover she had sex and had been too drunk to give her consent, leaving her shaken as she deals with the aftermath.

Over on Emmerdale, a struggling Paddy hits rock bottom as he considers taking his own life, leaving his dad Bear a letter.
