EastEnders fans distracted by glaring technical blunder in heated Mick and Linda Carter scene | The Sun

EASTENDERS' viewers were very distracted by technical blunder during tense Mick and Linda Carter scene.

Tuesday's episode of the BBC soap saw Mick Carter help his ex-wife Linda Carter recall the events leading up to the car crash ahead of her upcoming court case.

But viewers spotted a huge blunder with the lighting as the bright studio lights above the set made a brief appearance.

Taking to Twitter, one viewer said: "Did someone just see the studio lights pop into the shot."

Another wrote: “Oops I saw the studio lights!! #eastenders."

In the scene, Mick tells Linda how he wants to help so the judge will go easy on her.

Even though Linda is convinced she is going to prison – she hears Mick out and tries to remember what she did after the incident.

Linda recalls: "Sitting in the car. Annie in the back. We're not moving. The car wouldn't start. We must have stalled or something because we were just sitting there."

"And then you called me for help", Mick added. "I didn't pick up, so you must have called someone else."

Mick has an idea to look at Linda's call lists on her phone.

Later at the Queen Vic, they find out Linda called the Vic phone after Mick didn't pick up his mobile.

Mick vows "I will not stop" until he finds out who picked up the phone when Linda called.
